Autocomplete for your whole desktop
Linux has excellent completion in the terminal, but writing an email, a chat message or a document still means typing every letter. TypeBlink adds sentence completion to the rest of your desktop: browsers, chat apps, email and editors.
How it works on Ubuntu
Linux desktops do not give apps one shared way to read other apps' text. So TypeBlink is an input source: it sees what you type, shows the suggestion at your cursor and passes every key through with your normal layout. Select it from the keyboard menu, or with Super + Space, whenever you want suggestions. Tab takes the next word, ` takes all of it, Esc dismisses it.
Private and offline
Your writing stays on your machine. TypeBlink goes online only to download a model and to check for updates. If you let it learn your style, what it learns is encrypted with a key in GNOME Keyring.
Install in a minute
Download the .deb and install it with a double-click or sudo apt install ./TypeBlink_amd64.deb. The setup assistant adds the input source and downloads a model. Read the guide to AI autocomplete on Windows and Ubuntu.
